Appeals Process for Rejected Manuscripts
Appeals Process for Rejected Manuscripts
Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation provides a formal appeals process for authors whose manuscripts have been rejected. Authors who believe that their manuscript was rejected unfairly or due to misinterpretation of the content are invited to submit a written appeal.
To initiate an appeal, the author must submit a detailed letter to the editorial office within four weeks of the decision outlining:
1) The reason for contesting the editorial decision
2) A point-by-point response to reviewers’ comments (if applicable)
3) Any additional supporting information or clarifications
All appeals will be reviewed independently by the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriate senior editorial member who was not involved in the original decision. The outcome of the appeal will be communicated in writing, and the editorial decision after appeal will be considered final
